Terms of service

Kamino reads the sources you connect: eight data domains, each by a direct API or the spreadsheet connector, covering accounting, CRM, accounts payable, resourcing, HR, payroll, expenses and time tracking. Within accounting, the supported platform is QuickBooks Online today, with further accounting platforms opening. AR & Collections and Bank are the ninth and tenth domains and are coming soon.

From those records Kamino gives you the operating picture they imply: figures by project, client and department, each one traceable to the records that produced it. Access to your ledger and to every other connected source is read-only.

The trial is 14 days on your own books, with no credit card, on Starter and Growth. When it ends, nothing charges automatically; you either subscribe or you stop. Scale and Enterprise do not carry a trial: those start with a conversation, and the pricing page says so on the card.

Paid plans start from $49 per month. Billing is handled by our payment processor; Kamino does not store your card details.

You own your data. Kamino processes it on your instruction, for the sole purpose of computing and displaying your own figures. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train models. How it is handled is set out in our privacy policy.

The model receives your question and the shape of your data: table and field names, the scope, the period. It writes the query; Kamino runs it against your records itself. To write the read-out under an answer, the model is then given a summary of the result: the totals, and the largest and smallest entries by name and amount. It never receives the underlying rows.

You can revoke Kamino's access at any time through the source system's own authorisation settings, and you can request deletion of what we hold.

Using Kamino, you agree not to:

• connect records you are not authorised to access;
• attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the service or other customers' data;
• resell, sublicense or provide the service to third parties as your own;
• scrape, reverse-engineer or copy the product's outputs to build a competing service;
• use the service unlawfully.

We may suspend access for a breach of this section.

Kamino is in its current launch period, and the service is provided as-is. We do not offer an uptime guarantee or a service-level commitment yet, and features described on the roadmap carry no delivery dates. Figures shown on this website for “One Step Ahead” are a fictional demo extract and are illustrative only.

You may cancel at any time, and you may disconnect your integrations at any time. We may terminate an account for breach of these terms, or with reasonable notice if we discontinue the service. On termination, your access ends and you may request deletion of your data.
